Motherhood to Masterpiece

Windee is a whimsical abstract artist whose journey began at age 16 with watercolor and resilience. After years of motherhood, creative pauses, and rediscovery, she now paints vibrant, joyful works inspired by life’s love, loss, and transformation.

A juried fine artist and Milan Mastery Graduate, Windee believes art is healing, storytelling, and wonder – all in color.

About me..

I’m an abstract and whimsical artist living in Arizona. My art journey began at age 16, when I found myself unexpectantly pregnant but deeply determined to pursue creativity. Over the years, I’ve raised three incredible children, created art alongside them, and
returned to painting after decades of life and growth.

After my father Jack passed away in 2024, I followed a calling to fully embrace my passion. I enrolled in the Milan Mastery Program and now create colorful, joy-filled pieces that reflect resilience, imagination, and love. My mission is to bring light and wonder to others through every brushstroke.

A Tribute to My Father, Jack

In Loving
Memory of My Father, Jack

Jack was a teacher, a storyteller, and my
greatest encourager. He showed me how to fix things, not just ask for help. He packed lunches with doodles, wore handmade shirts with pride, and saved every card I ever made. When he passed, I heard his voice tell me, “It’s time, follow your art”. I enrolled in the Milan Art Mastery Program, finally honoring the dream he always supported. Crows and Butterflies remind me daily: he is here, guiding every brushstroke.

This art is for him, because of him – with endless Butterly kisses

WinLinARTS Journey

WinLinArts
began with a simple, unexpected find – a kiln at a garage sale. The original plan was to make ourselves silver pendants from metal clay, but neither myself nor my mom Linda had ever worked with clay before. Curious and excited, we started small - we purchased three blocks of polymer clay from the craft store and hours spent conditioning it by hand at the kitchen table.

Those early days we were slow and full of learning. Each pendant took us hours, every curve, every texture shaped with care. We’d spend evenings crafting and
weekends hunting for supplies, always together, always inspired by the joy of
creating. But mostly just spending time together.

Our first sale, set up in our driveway, featured 19 pieces, a proud moment that marked the beginning of something special. Ten years later, WinLinArts has grown into a small business rooted in love, creativity, and connection. We now craft and display hundreds of hand-crafted pendants, earrings, hand rolled beads, and intricate polymer clay pieces. Linda has become the master of color, blending clay into breathtaking palettes that bring designs to life.

As juried polymer clay artist, we are honored to share our work with others. But more than anything, the true treasure is the time we spend together – mother and daughter, side by side, creating beauty from clay and love.
